Rikus Lombard was an andBeyond Field Guide at Kirkman's Kamp in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in South Africa for four years. andBeyond Field Guides are some of the most highly trained, professional, passionate and knowledgeable rangers on the continent. Having undergone the rigorous Inkwazi Training and Selection Course Rikus has an incomparable wealth of knowledge about local habitats, ecology, birds, trees, plants, animals and insects.

Rikus has a passion for wildlife and conservation which has evolved into a passion for photographing the wonders of nature not only in Southern Africa but around the world. 

Rikus now resides in NYC with his wife and their two dogs.
